"The other side of risk is opportunity. You can't have one without the other."
— Jonathan Fields

In 2007, I packed up two suitcases and moved to New York City from my home town of Walnut Creek, California. My dream: to make a living as a professional actor.

Original, right?

My actor-dream began in elementary school, dancing to "On the Good Ship Lollipop" at the age of 6. I fell head-over-heels in love with performing. And since then I have remained passionately committed to realizing my full potential in every artistic collaboration...theatre, film, singing, voiceover, tap dance, etc.

Though the actor's life is often filled with uncertainty and there are no direct paths to a successful career, I believe that consistently learning, striving for excellence, embracing challenges, and jumping into new opportunities are the best way to create a long-lasting career and fulfilling life as an artist.

As an “actor/singer/blogger/tap dancer/voiceover artist/improviser/creativity coach/producer/girl Friday,” I am passionate about honest storytelling, asking great questions, and participating in fun-loving and creative collaborations across all mediums.

Acting is my art, my business and my calling.

Hard work makes me laugh. Dedication is my middle name. And I think the phrase “you can’t do that” is more of a challenge than a statement. Let's play!

Love,
Virginia
